How to make great things happen…

Leadership is about influencing people in a certain direction. Good leadership will lift people up and enable them to do things that they don’t think they can. Making the impossible possible. Bad leadership will have the opposite effect.

In this blog I share my beliefs around good leadership and the things I do to make a difference as a leader. It is a mix of things I have learned over the years and tools and techniques I have practiced in my leadership work.

The purpose of engineering leadership is to ensure that we deliver great impact in a way that makes us a great place to work. Delivering value is the whole idea with going to work and to ensure that we are delivering the most value possible both now and in the future we need our organization to be a place where people enjoy working so that they wants to stay with us.

As a manager you need to provide leadership in all the leadership areas but the support needed for people and teams, for business and tech and to build a great culture are things that all of us can do together to build a really strong organization.
